VINODKUMAR (37) is a father of two, a dedicated family man and a loyal friend is suffering from “MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROME” since September 2009. Doctors tried all possible treatments and now his chance of survival depends on finding a matching bone marrow to do BMT (Bone Marrow Transplantation). Unfortunately his brother’s bone marrow didn’t match. We are organizing the drives all over USA to find a potential match. The test is absolutely Free.

Who is eligible to participate in absolutely free test drive?
  • Anyone who can spare 10 minutes of their time
  • Between age 18-60
  • No history of hepatitis, heart disease, cancer or AIDS.
What happens at test(absolutely free) drive?
  • Fill a consent form
  • Give your saliva using a swab
  • DONE! No needles. No blood drawn.
  • Your information and results are kept confidential.

What happens if you match?
  • It is your choice whether or not you proceed. If you agree to give the Gift of Life then ……
  • PBSC Donation:Advanced medical technology makes it possible for you to donate blood forming cells similar to red cross blood donation method. This procedure is done 70% of the time.
  • Marrow Donation:Under general anesthesia (while you feel no pain), at no cost to you, less than 5% of your marrow will be removed with the help of a needle.
  • You might be sore for a day or two. You make up that marrow in less than 3 weeks. You will know that someone is alive because of your big heart and unique marrow
